WILDe Theater
is the first international student theater organization of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Our aim is to give the amateur actors, writers, directors, photographers and make-up artists a chance to express themselves by providing them with workshops, human resources and art production opportunities.

Our mission is to be a relevant and active organization at the Erasmus University that stimulates intercultural communication and internationalization on campus through culture, art and compelling theatre productions. To bundle and utilize the talent and passion of students towards performing arts and to create compelling productions. It shall be open for anyone who has the grail to create, the will to rediscover themselves and the resolve to present this to the world.

How can I become a member of WILDe?
It's simple! Just fill in the Typeform and wait for an
E-mail responce from us. After signing up you will start recieving notifications from WILDe regarding our events via the newsletters. You can also join our Instagram and Facebook goups to stay updated about the upcoming productions!
Is there a membership fee?
No! The aim of WILDe is to provide our members with an opportunity to do what they love within theater and film industry without paying or going through complicated enrolling procedures.
Do I have to participate in every event if I join WILDe?
No! Participation in WILDe events is completely voluntary. If you become a WILDe member, you will simply be informed about all our production opportunities. From those you can choose to participate in as many as you want.
How much time per week would I have to spend doing WILDe activities?
This would strongly depend on what events you decide to sign up for. If you are just joining in for some of the workshops, you won't have to worry about time-management. However, if you sign up for bigger productions, such as our plays, then we expect dedication. We normally have 1-2 rehearsals a week for the performances 3 hours each (or up to 3 rehearsals a week closer to the actual perfermance day). But generally we are very flexible with our events. Most of our members are students so we always try to adjust the scedule according to our member's preferences (e.g. by hostig events in the evenings)
I have an art production idea, which I want to realize. What do I do?
That's wonderful! Contact us via Facebook Messenger or E-mail or look out for our Events to see if there are any upcoming projects you can participate in with your idea.
Is there a fixed weekly/yerly scedule for the WILDe activities?
Our scedule varies from week-to-week depending on what events are taking place. Workshops are normally carried out once in 1-2 weeks, whereas other events are only hosted once a month or even once a year. You can always check out our Facebook group to stay updated about the dates and times of the events. If you are a member of a bigger production, on the other hand, then you might have a more strict scedule depending on what you decide together with the hosts/directors.
Does every WILDe event have to be signed up for?
Some of our larger productions (e.g. Plays) do require signing up via typeform. But for many of our smaller events (such as workshops) you can just join in without signing up.
Do I need to have theater or movie-related experience to participate in WILDe events
I am a representative from an organization and would like to collaborate with WILDe on a project. Whom do I contact?
No! No! And once again - No! Being in WILDe is all about sharing experiences and learning from each other. Everyone brings something of their own and we progress as artists together.
